Born and bread in Namibia, Heike the owner, spent 22 years of her life in Europe, visiting her home country occasionally as a tourist. In these years she realized that a traveler to Namibia is sometimes left alone, not willingly but due to a blindness one develops when you live in a country. Getting aware of this fact the wish grew stronger and stronger to return home and assist travelers so that they can enjoy their journey even before they get onto the plane. Unique Tours & Safaris was founded in 2008 and registered in 2009 and since then we dedicate our work and being towards the travelers to our beloved home country. Starting off with the planing according to their guests dreams an itinerary is created including all the knowledge about road conditions, travel distances etc. to make sure that the traveler is going to enjoy what is lying ahead. After the planing is done, the booking is started, hopefully well in advance to secure the preferred accommodation. Than it is time to grow the travel fever until the plane departs the country the guests originate from and arrive in Windhoek International airport. Here all needed documentation, maps, vouchers and minute road descriptions await you, or if you chose to make use of the guide, he will be waiting for you. Now it is time to experience this wonderful country. Whether it is a general overview of Namibia, a birding tour, a photographer trip you are doing the trip you want to do and not a trip that was prepacked that only suits part of your dreams.
