"Oud wood and oud oil from Assam India. Also known as agarwood, oud is the most precious and most expensive perfumery raw material used as a fixative. Oud oil from India is characterised by its unique barny, fecal, animalic aroma which matures into sweet vanillic, floral while being bitter, leathery, spicy at the same time. It is everything that you imagine it to be. Agarwood oil has also been used in medicines in India, China, Middle east and Japan. Oud wood when burnt on a slow burning heat gives off very bitter sweet buttery leathery aroma deeply intermingled into each other that teases your senses."
