Whirlpool WP8540221 Washer Door Strike

The Whirlpool WP8540221 Door Strike for Washer provides a secure engagement point for the washer door latch. This replacement strike attaches to the washer door or frame and fits into the corresponding latch mechanism when the door is closed. Its proper positioning allows the latch to engage securely, helping keep the door closed during washing and spinning cycles. A functioning door strike supports reliable operation and helps prevent problems caused by a loose or improperly secured door.
