The American Automobile Association (AAA) is a federation of motor clubs across North America. It is a privately held not-for-profit organization with over 60 million members in the United States and Canada. AAA provides services such as roadside assistance and has its national headquarters in Heathrow, Florida. The organization was founded on March 4, 1902, in Chicago, Illinois, to address the lack of suitable roads and highways for automobiles.
