When you look northwards from Manali town, the highest pinnacle on the white mountain range that closes the valley is Friendship Peak. It looms at an altitude of 17300 ft. Friendship Peak has been declared a trekking peak by Indian Mountaineering Foundation for trained and professional mountaineers. But for beginners and armature mountaineers it is a bit challenging.
