Whirlpool WP8283288 Door Switch for Dryer

The Whirlpool WP8283288 Door Switch for Dryer detects when the dryer door is properly closed and helps ensure the appliance operates safely during a drying cycle. This replacement component activates or interrupts the dryer’s electrical circuit based on the door’s position, allowing the appliance to start when the door is securely shut and stopping operation when it is opened.
