Wrapping a pallet correctly helps keep the load stable, protect products and reduce the risk of damage during handling and transport. Start with a sound pallet and stack heavier cartons at the bottom, keeping the load within the pallet edges. Secure sharp or fragile corners with corner protectors before wrapping. When hand wrapping, anchor the film to the base, wrap around the pallet and bottom cartons three to four times, then spiral upwards with around 50% overlap and even tension.
