Layachi Ben Mohamed Ben Ali Bouzeguia (1915–1999)

This article traces the journey of Layachi Ben Mohamed Ben Ali Bouzeguia (1915–1999), originally from the province of Safi, from his voluntary enlistment in the French army in 1936 until his retirement in 1977. Incorporated into the 2nd Moroccan Tirailleurs Regiment, he participated in the 1940 campaign of France and was taken prisoner in Lille on May 26, 1940.
