Alloy 410/410S is a 12% chromium martensitic stainless steel plate that can be heat treated to obtain a wide range of mechanical properties. This addition of chromium element provides a significant increase in corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments where extreme strength and moderate heat resistance are required. 410S grade is a lower Carbon modification of 410S stainless steel, more easily welded but with low mechanical properties.
