Janu Vasti or Janu Basti is a specialized ayurveda treatment commonly known as ayurvedic treatment to relieve knee pain. It is one of the five toxin-eliminating treatments caused by arthritis by strengthening the knee muscles and joints. The treatment is performed through panchakarma. It includes pouring and pooling medicated oils for a fixed duration of time in a therapies compartment constructed for vamana (vomiting).
