Located right in the heart of Mumbai city, Kurla is a major railway interchange bringing together the Central and Harbour lines of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. Started in 1853, Kurla is one of the oldest railway stations in Indian history, presently generating an average traffic of between 10 to 15 lakh commuters daily, transiting through Mumbai's busiest railway station network.
