Across Virginia many students are not getting the education they need as school districts are suffering from inadequate funding from the state. School buildings crumbling, classes overcrowded, disadvantaged students are not getting the support, technology outdated and teachers are among the lowest paid in the country.

If Virginia doesn't increase investments in K-12 education today - while the economy is strong - we never will. With a strong voice and a united front, we can rally support for the General Assembly to identify the true cost of K-12 education and then live up to their obligation to fully fund their share of that cost.
